She

Like a tree on a windless day
She stood…
Waiting.

Like a partially frozen river
Her thoughts…
Flowed.

Like a wolf on the hunt
Her soul…
Searched.

Like a rabbit in a snare
Her body…
Trembled.

Like an exploding volcano
Her passion…
Detonated.

Like a tormenting demon
Her desire…
Rejoiced.

Like smoldering ashes
Her arousal
Lamented.

Like the dry sands watching the incoming tide
She
Surrendered.
